Choose how to fund your betting account, check how you can withdraw, and find the right guide before you send money.
Source check: 12 September 2026. This is a guide to choosing a method, not a deposit or payout speed test.
South African betting cashiers offer several ways to add money: prepaid vouchers, bank payments and cards. The useful question is which method works for your account and your planned withdrawal, at an acceptable cost. A payment logo alone does not answer that. Check the deposit and withdrawal screens separately before committing money.
This also applies when funding a betting account used for slots or crash games. A method listed by one operator does not establish acceptance at every casino site, or establish a site's licensing status.
| Method | Before paying | Withdrawal check |
|---|---|---|
| Prepaid voucher | Exact brand, accepted value, expiry and whether the PIN has already been redeemed | Ask which payout method is available after this voucher deposit |
| Capitec Pay | Payment request, recipient, amount and bank fee in the app | Check the operator's withdrawal methods separately |
| Instant EFT / pay-by-bank | Supported bank, provider and successful payment confirmation | Deposit confirmation is not payout approval |
| Manual EFT | Current bank details and the reference shown in your account | Check account-name and verification requirements |
| Debit or credit card | Accepted card, authentication, issuer charges and available funds | Ask whether card payouts are supported for your account |
For any method, compare the amount leaving your bank or cash balance with the amount credited to the betting wallet. Bank charges, voucher purchase charges and operator fees are separate questions. Avoid borrowing to gamble or depositing money needed for essentials.
The table records published deposit options, not a ranking, a recommendation or a successful transaction test. Availability can change or differ by account. An omitted method means it was not confirmed here, not that the operator rejects it.
| Operator | Documented deposit options | Source and limitation |
|---|---|---|
| YesPlay | Bank deposits / EFT; card deposits | Terms, sections 1.6.4–1.6.5. Use current cashier details and references; this row does not confirm individual voucher brands. |
| ZarBet | Visa, Mastercard, Capitec Pay, OTT, Flash Voucher, EFT, Samsung and Apple Pay | Welcome-page terms. This deposit list is not a list of withdrawal methods. “Flash Voucher” is retained as the source names it; do not assume interchangeability with another product. |
Do not choose an operator on this table alone. Check its current terms, identity-verification requirements and licence information as well as payment support. Payment support is only one part of that decision.
1Voucher's redemption guide describes buying a prepaid voucher and redeeming its 16-digit PIN with a participating merchant. Buying a voucher without a bank card does not make the betting account anonymous. For example, YesPlay's terms, sections 1.2.3–1.2.4, require identity verification and permit restrictions while identity remains unverified.
Open the withdrawal menu before making your first deposit. Check the available method, minimum and maximum, charges, required documents and whose account may receive the funds. Ask support if any of those details are unclear.
Do not assume you can return winnings to the same voucher PIN or that every operator offers bank-free collection. Also distinguish an in-game “cash out” button from withdrawing money out of the betting account: finishing a bet does not complete a bank transfer.
Stop and check the original transaction before trying again. Repeated deposits can create several debits without fixing the first problem.
Ozow's terms distinguish merchant disputes from payment-processing issues, and explain that card or wallet transactions can remain pending or be declined. They do not promise one refund deadline for every transaction. Capitec also says an approved Capitec Pay payment cannot simply be cancelled in the app; its guidance is to contact the merchant about a refund.
A supported prepaid voucher can provide a cash-funded deposit route. Check acceptance before purchase and confirm how you will withdraw. Account verification can still be required.
Do not assume so. Check the operator and your bank or payment provider separately. Capitec currently lists R1 for Capitec Pay; other methods and providers have their own terms.
This page does not rank measured speeds. Payment authorisation, wallet credit, identity checks and withdrawal processing are different stages. Ask about the stage that matters to you, rather than relying on an “instant” label.
Do not increase your budget to meet a cashier minimum or qualify for a promotion. You can choose not to deposit. See responsible gambling support and limits.
