Contact Bet AFR

Bet AFR is an independent editorial site for South African sports bettors, published at betafr.co.za. We are not a bookmaker and cannot help with bets, deposits, withdrawals or account issues — for those, contact your bookmaker's own support team directly. For anything to do with our content, we'd love to hear from you.

Email us

The best way to reach the editorial team is by email:

nomadora41+press@gmail.com

We read every message and aim to reply within two business days. Messages sent over weekends or public holidays are answered the next working day. We answer in English; you're welcome to write in any South African language and we'll do our best.

What to get in touch about

  • Corrections. If you spot an out-of-date odds figure, bonus term, licence detail or score, tell us and we'll check it. Accuracy matters to us, and reader corrections genuinely help.
  • Fixture suggestions. Want us to preview a particular PSL or European match? Send it through.
  • Feedback. Thoughts on a review, a guide or how we rank betting sites are always welcome.
  • Complaints about our content. If you believe something we published is unfair, misleading or in breach of our own standards, say so plainly — see the complaints section below for how we handle it.
  • Partnership and media enquiries. For commercial or press questions, email the same address and we'll route it to the right person.
  • Privacy and data requests. POPIA requests about your personal information are handled through the same inbox — see below.

Reporting a correction — what helps us fix it fast

We take corrections seriously: gambling content that is wrong isn't just embarrassing, it can cost readers money. To help us verify and fix an error quickly, please include:

  1. The page URL where you saw the problem.
  2. The specific claim you believe is wrong — quote it if you can.
  3. What you believe is correct, ideally with a source we can check (an operator's own terms page, an official league site, a regulator's register).
  4. The date you saw it — operators change offers without notice, and a figure can be right on Monday and stale by Friday.

When a correction checks out, we update the page and refresh its "last updated" date. Material errors — a wrong licence claim, a wrong bonus figure, a wrong helpline number — are prioritised ahead of everything else in the queue. You can read how we source and check our work in our editorial policy and how we score operators in how we rate.

Complaints — how we handle them

If your message is a complaint about our editorial standards rather than a simple correction, here is what to expect:

  • We acknowledge complaints within two business days, the same as everything else.
  • A person — not an auto-responder — reviews the page in question against our published editorial policy.
  • If we got it wrong, we fix the page and tell you what we changed. If we stand by the content, we explain why.
  • We do not remove factually accurate content because an operator or advertiser dislikes it. Our rankings and reviews are editorial, and commercial relationships do not buy changes to them — that separation is the point of the site.

Privacy and your data (POPIA)

Bet AFR collects very little personal information — we have no accounts, no logins and no marketing database. If you email us, we hold your email and message only for as long as needed to deal with it. Under the Protection of Personal Information Act you may ask us:

  • what personal information of yours we hold (usually: your emails to us, and nothing else);
  • to correct or delete it.

Send POPIA requests to the editorial address above with "POPIA request" in the subject line. Full details of what we collect and why — including cookies and analytics — are in our privacy policy and cookie policy.

A note on impersonation and "VIP tips" scams

Bet AFR does not run WhatsApp groups, Telegram channels or social-media accounts selling tips, "fixed matches" or account top-ups, and we will never DM you asking for money or banking details. Anyone doing so in our name is a scammer — please report it to us so we can warn other readers, and report the account on the platform concerned. Our predictions are published free on this site and nowhere else, and they are opinions for entertainment, never promises of profit.

What we can't help with

We are an editorial publisher, not a gambling operator. We do not hold player accounts, process payments or settle bets, so we can't recover a withdrawal, reset a password or resolve a dispute with a bookmaker. For those:

  • First, use the support channel of the bookmaker concerned — every operator we review lists its support contacts, and our reviews note how responsive they are.
  • If the operator won't resolve it, escalate to the gambling board that licenses that operator (for example the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board for WCGRB-licensed sites). The licensing authority for each operator we cover is stated in its review.

If gambling has stopped being fun, free and confidential help is available from the National Responsible Gambling Programme on 0800 006 008 (toll-free, 24 hours), by SMS — HELP to 076 675 0710 — or at responsiblegambling.org.za. Counselling through the NRGP is free of charge, and six-month self-exclusion is available. You'll find the full set of support options, including SADAG and international resources, on our responsible gambling page.

Who is behind Bet AFR?

We're a small, independent South African editorial team. How we make money is simple and disclosed on every page where it applies: some links to bookmakers are affiliate links, and if you sign up through them we may earn a commission at no cost to you. That never changes a ranking, a rating or a warning — the about page explains who we are and how we rate explains the scoring system, criterion by criterion.

Bet AFR is an editorial site for adults aged 18 and over. Gambling involves financial risk. If gambling is no longer fun, call the National Responsible Gambling helpline free on 0800 006 008 or SMS HELP to 076 675 0710.
